Cast: Eita, Yakusho, Fumi Nikaido, Junichi Sawayashiki, Satomi Kobayashi,
Takuya (Eita) is seriously injured in a car accident while returning from a date with his girlfriend Hikari (Fumi Nikaido). Around the same time, his juvenile delinquent friend Akiba (Junichi Sawayashiki) is released from a boys reformatory. Takuya is carried to the hospital and its discovered that hes fallen into a coma. His day-trading father Takuro (Yakusho) and his mother (Satomi Kobayashi) are at a loss as to what to do, but they decide to take Akiba in. Several days later Hikari calls for Takuya, completely unaware of whats happened to him. Takuro is unable to tell her the truth, so he picks up the phone and pretends to be Takuya.
