Биография

Южнокорейский актер Ли Джун Ки родился 17 апреля 1982 года в городе Пусан. Свою карьеру он начал в качестве модели. Впервые на ТВ его можно было увидеть в 2001 году, в рекламе торговой марки "So Basic Fashion".

Первая дорама, в которой он снялся, была "Nan Eotteokhae / What should I do?" ("Что же мне делать?"), где он сыграл роль трудного подростка. Немного позже Джун Ки появился в эпизодической роли в дораме "Star's Echo" ("Звездное эхо").

Слава пришла к Джун Ки после выхода фильма "The King and His Clown" ("Король и шут"), который занял верхние строчки в кинопрокате Южной Кореи и даже побил рекорд такого фильма как "Taegukgi / Brotherhood of War" ("Военное братство"), самого кассового в истории Кореи. До этого никому не известный актер Ли Джун Ки, за одну ночь стал известен на всю страну.

Следующая его работа была в дораме "My Girl" ("Моя девушка"), где он исполнил роль второго плана, совместно с Мисс Корея Пак Си Ён, и такими звездами как Ли Да Хе и Ли Дон Вук. Lee Joongi plays metal craft artist Baek Hee Sung who apparently lives an ‘ordinary life.’ Running his own shop, HEESUNG is a loving husband who’s become an expert in housework and childcare for his detective wife JIWON, and also a caring, doting father to their daughter EUNHA (Jung Seoyeon). . But he has the secrets that he’s been trying so extraordinarily hard to hide in order to maintain this ‘ordinary life.’ In all the time he and his wife have been together, Heesung has not only hidden his past and real identity, but also faked the feelings of love. In front of his wife and daughter, he puts on a warm smile, but once he turns around, he reveals a chilling, expressionless look on his face. Viewers become more curious as Lee Joongi is expected to flawlessly convey the polar opposites of Heesung, namely, his ‘temperature gap.’ . [trans - interview] - LEE JOON GI’s THE STAR MAGAZINE Interview - “I started filming my drama in March. Once I get started on a new project, I usually concentrate fully and only on the filming. . “Everyone, please cheer up and protect your health! . “The gorgeous landscapes and architecture in Macau, and the moments I had with my staff at famous tourist attractions have now become precious memories. . “I feel immensely excited and satisfied that I get to do my job as an actor; take on new challenges; and create a harmonious workplace on set as I’m at the center [of the workplace] while enjoying myself thoroughly on set. . “I cannot guarantee what the result might be, but I try not to worry too much about the result. Instead, I try to enjoy the process thoroughly as it is now, and turn it into a new, nourishing experience. I will keep running and finish the race beautifully. After that, I will start preparing for something new. . “This is a story of love and truth about a married couple who have loved each other for 14 years.” . “I think the continuity and originality of unpredictable situations in the story are among this drama’s strengths. . “I found complex and nuanced emotions created by the situations to be very interesting. What’s so appealing about it is that I get to take on another, different challenge as an actor. . “I think there has been a lot that [Chaewon and I] can smooth over, complement and help each other out with when we act together. . “I am paying particular attention to details in my facial expressions, movements, and breathing. . “I’m keeping my bangs long so I can hide my facial expressions. I’ve carefully calculated my reactions to different characters, ways of expression, and emotions. . “I think of the set as both a cheerful playground and a sacred stage and derive energy from being in there. So I practice self-control and will myself to create a fun and happy workplace on set. When I do that, I can create positive energy no matter what environment I am in.
